AIAA is a professional society for the field of aerospace engineering. NDSU's chapter provides students with a chance to get hands-on engineering experience, connect with industry professionals, and more!

Ballistic Bison

The Ballistic Bison is NDSU's competitive rocketry team. The team competes in one competition per year, such as the Space Grant Midwest High-Power Rocketry Competition. The team also hosts model rocket launch events a couple times each semester.

Rocket Propulsion Design Team

RPDT is an ongoing senior design project in which the aim is to design, build, and test a flight-ready hybrid rocket motor.

Design Build Fly

Design Build Fly is a senior design project in which the aim is to design, fabricate, and demonstrate the flight capabilities of an electric powered, radio controlled aircraft.
